Great to be a Frisbie, Frisbee, Frisby or Frisbe!

Let’s DANCE

Watch “Jitterbugging” dance craze of the 1940s

Sat. nights…1940s Cuero, TX…Frisbie sisters Bettye (Davis, my mom) and Raye (Boothe) jitterbugged with their teen friends and the Wasserman brothers “best jitterbuggers in town!” Youtube shows us how! Mom, too understated to tout her prowess, must have really “cut a rug!” Have your own jitterbug story? share here.

NEW Frisbie Book!

NEW “Luman Frisbie: His Family and Descendants”

by Cathy Schott (FFFAA member and DAR expert on Luman Frisbie). History of nine generations from Luman (1760-1818) thru son Theodore. Luman served in CT in the Revolutionary War, afterwards moved his family to NY, probably on way to Ashtabula, OH. Sadly, he never made it there, but his family did…this is their story.
